This Privacy Policy describes how AusReviews ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website and app (the "Service").
Who we are
AusReviews is a Blu Mint Digital product. When you pay for a subscription, charges may appear as Blu Mint Digital on your statement.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, password (handled by our authentication provider), and basic profile/business details you provide.
- Business and client data: business name, Google review link, client names, client email addresses, and client phone numbers you add.
- Messaging and usage data: records of review requests sent, delivery timestamps, and feedback interactions.
- Payments and billing: billing status and Stripe identifiers needed to manage subscriptions (we do not store full card details).
- Google Business Profile data (optional): if you connect your Google Business Profile, we store tokens and selected location identifiers to sync ratings and review counts.
How we use information
- Provide and operate the Service (accounts, dashboard, settings, and review requests).
- Send review request messages you initiate (email and/or SMS).
- Process subscriptions and manage billing.
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- Communicate with you about service-related updates and support.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service, for example:
- Supabase (database and authentication) to store your account and app data.
- Stripe (payments) to create and manage subscriptions, invoices, and receipts.
- Twilio (SMS) to deliver SMS messages you send through the Service.
- Resend (email) to deliver email messages you send through the Service.
- Google (optional) if you connect your Google Business Profile to sync reviews data.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger or sale), consistent with applicable law.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies required for sign-in and core functionality. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy to describe what is used and how to opt out (where applicable).
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can delete clients and other content in-app; account deletion may require contacting support.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International data transfers
Our service providers may process data outside Australia (for example, in the United States or other regions). Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law.
Your choices
- Update your business details and settings at any time in the dashboard.
- Disconnect your Google Business Profile connection (if enabled) from Settings.
- Manage billing and subscription status via your billing settings.
